Running Sucks

Feeling good, considering today’s training involved running a 5k! I haven’t run anything further than 800m in a WOD in over a year. Last year I was playing rugby, then I tore my PCL and once recovered I embarked an a strength (mainly squatting) bias.

Jacob Tsypkin must know his stuff as a came through in a comfortable 21 minutes. Not setting the world alight, and 3 minutes of my PB. However, I’ve put 20kg on my squat, 10kg on my press, snatch and clean in the past 6 months; and gained 5kg. I’m happy with that sacrifice as the engine will come back quickly…I hope!
